How is the lesbian world out there? I am good. I am getting better and better. How are you all feeling about the state of the world out there for the LGBT community. I have good days and then not so good days about the political state of the world or the United States.
I have commented in the past that I'm always disappointed when couples break up that have been together for a long time. I guess through others, we hope to watch our future play out. Many are fine with relationships coming and going, but I guess I'm a big of romantic in the whole together ever after. That wouldn't have been good for me, because I was married to a man and had children, and I never would have been as happy with him as I am now with a woman. For whatever reason, I did not enter a relation with a woman back then. Again, I do believe we move along that continuum re: our sexuality. And I believe at 18 I was perhaps more in the center and did fall in love with a man and 3 wonderful children and for many years for me, it has been all about women for relationships.
I have found that I relate best to women, and have always sought the emotional intimacy and have always had many women friends because of the emotional sharing. I have also been interested in spirtuality and this too has been shared with my women friends.
Are you into self-help and/or self-improvement? If so, you can go to this site. There are many opportunities offered here. Lesbian or not, our life takes a lot of gusto to keep going and to go forward. I have discovered in my work, that most people are not happy. I think sometimes we can do things in our life to make us happy. Make changes, improve, love ourselves and that equals better and happier relationships.
