Bummer about Melissa

Hi, I'm back. Wanted to comment on Melissa's breakup. What a bummer. Do we all put our hopes and dreams in these poor gay couples in the spotlight and then when it doesn't work out, we are so disappointed. This puts a lot of pressure on the couples to be better than the rest. I guess we are all human and we have frailties and problems. I think it is probably that much harder for those with fame. I think the relationships are very different and very vulnerable because of egos, fame, worship, etc. They really cannot have normal lives. And let's face it, marriage is hard enough as it is, but add all those other factors in, including how their relationship has no privacy, and I have some idea of how awful I would feel about all of that.
I know that a couple that fought for the right to marry in Massachusetts then broke up several years later, and it seems much more symbolic because of it. Perhaps we as a people are not meant for those long-term lifetime relationships anymore. Perhaps we change and grow and need new partners as we go along. I haven't figured it out yet because I am a Capricorn and like groundedness, and relationships coming and going doesn't represent that. I guess it is about riding the waves. There is the quote: "The only certainty is change." A good one for me, and of course for all those women who have found themselves attracted to a different sex after years.
Check out this website for some ideas on how to make your life better.
